5. Your choices and requests

State consumer privacy laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, generally do not apply to personal information collected in a business-to-business or employment context, which covers most of the information we hold. However, wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal information about you and give you a copy of it;

  • correct inaccurate personal information; or

  • delete your personal information, unless we need to keep it for a legal or business reason.

To make a request, email privacy@ardmoreshipping.com or call us on +1 713 425 0111. We will need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend this by a further 45 days.

Appeals

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If you are a Texas resident and we deny your appeal, you can contact the Texas Attorney General at www.texasattorneygeneral.gov.

We will not treat you differently for making a request.

6. Marketing emails

Every marketing email we send identifies Ardmore, includes our postal address and contains a link to unsubscribe. We will process your request within 10 business days, in line with the CAN-SPAM Act.

7. Cookies and Do Not Track

Our use of cookies is explained in our Cookie Policy (US). You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, and change your choices at any time, using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no agreed standard for responding to these signals, our website does not respond to them.

8. Children

Our website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we will notify you of a data breach where required by law.

10. International transfers

Ardmore is an international group. Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in Ireland, Bermuda, Singapore and other countries where Ardmore or our service providers operate. We protect it as described in our Privacy Notice.
