Mark Cameron, Executive Vice President and COO of Ardmore Shipping, was once again invited to join the Judging Panel for the GST Awards which take place at the annual Green Ship Technology (GST) Conference in Copenhagen.

A key event on the annual shipping calendar, GST brings together likeminded individuals concerned with technological advances that promote cleaner, more efficient, and more environmentally responsible shipping.

This year’s Awards marked the inaugural combined GST & Shipping2030 Gala Dinner and Awards. As always, awards were presented to those organisations recognised as actively pioneering greener shipping.

The four-strong Judging Panel included Ardmore’s Mark Cameron, Lars Robert Pedersen, Deputy Secretary General of BIMCO, Kate Adamson, CEO, Futurenautics and Per Winther Christiensen, Deputy Director of the Danish Shipowners Association.

Commenting on his experience at this year’s awards, Mark said: “I’m honoured to have once again been invited to sit on the judging panel for these prestigious awards. As with previous years, I was impressed with the calibre of entries showcasing the wide range of innovative technological advances that are being realised within the industry. Congratulations to the shortlisted companies and of course a special congratulations to the three winners, Langht Tech Oy Ab, Eagle Bulk Shipping, and Kyynel Ltd.”
